Objectives:
- To
prepare more First Nation people to become employed or self-employed
in careers that are interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
- To allow
participants to compete for jobs on a professional level in order
to gain self-esteem and recognition in the workplace.
- To provide
practical and technical knowledge, basic theory, shop exercises, and
training programs from basic to complex, which allows graduates to
have the opportunity to enter the job market at higher salary ranges.

increase the number of First Nation people in the Mechanical trades.
- To increase
the number of First Nation people to become professionals in their
trade.
- To provide
equal opportunity for both men and women to develop a career in the
field of mechanics.
